 After some time (10+ minutes) the following screen appears:

 Check for each database that the Result: message is The database creation was successful.

 Select Finish to end the install.



Verify that all databases are created successfully by doing the following:

 In the final screen (above) check for each database that the “Result:” message is “The database creation was

successful.”

 Check the log files for any issues.

 As user db2inst1 entering the following DB2 command and verify all Connections' databases are listed:

db2 list database directory

 Now, as user db2inst1, issue the following DB2 command to set the default for the number of concurrently open DB2

databases to 18:

db2 update dbm cfg using numdb 18

1 2 ... 84 85 86 87 88 89 90 91 92 93 94 ... 127 128
