Scanner Discovery

Special builder that discovers include paths and

symbols for indexer to use

By default, discovery is automated and will parse build

output to find compiler options that pertain to header

paths and defined symbols

●

Default include path and defined symbols for compiler

found by invoking the compiler with special options

●

e.g. gcc -E -P -v -dD

●

Options found under Project Properties

●

C/C++ Build -> Discovery Options

●

Recommended to leave default options in place
