Certificate Authentication

This authentication method is used to authenticate a user with a certificate. This method is convenient

when the computer to be used is specified.

When the user accesses a business system or the Authentication infrastructure URL, the Web browser

prompts the user to present the certificate. Authentication is performed by registering the certificate in

advance in the Web browser used by the user. In this authentication method, the user is assumed to be

authenticated when he or she can be identified from the presented certificate.
