Installing the Agent

To install the Agent, copy the installation file for your agent to /tmp. Then

install using the following command:

Configuring the NIS Agent

To configure the Agent, run the following commands:

When prompted:

1. Select y to continue with the configuration.

2. Accept the default Agent name.

3. Please enter the full path to the NIS password file.

You must specify a value here. If NIS is configured to use its own pass-

word files, do not accept the default value /etc/passwd as this is the

name of the system password file.

# cd /opt/quest/insync

# gzip -dfc /tmp/insnisfilename.zip | tar xvf -

# ${GO_ROOT}/bin/GoSetup GoNIS
