Pramati Server 3.0 Installation Guide

• Pressing the Enter key starts running the automated

installation. After the installation is complete, the message [

Automated installation done ]

is displayed.

Uninstalling Server on Unix and Windows

To u ni ns ta l l s er v er :

1 Log in as any user.

2 Change directory to <install_dir>\_uninst

3 Run java - jar uninstall.jar to start uninstalling Server.

4 The Uninstallation wizard appears. Follow the instructions.

5 Click Finish.

Server is uninstalled. You may have to manually remove some files and

directories from the installation directory.

Installation Directory Structure

Directory Description

/uninst contains information required for

uninstalling the Server

/server/dtds document type descriptors used by

various Server XML files

/server/add_ons additional files or application

required by the Server

/server/config configuration and properties files

used by the Server

/server/lib/ext standard Java extension JARs

/server/lib/server Server-specific JARs required by

client programs

/server/im images used by Pramati Server

Management Console

/server/samples Sample applications to run on the

Server

/server/docs documentation for the Server
