Disable Automatic Satellite Startup

Satellite Service management will be handled by Red Hat Cluster Suite. Therefore, it is necessary to disable

Satellite Service from automatically starting on cluster nodes.

To achieve this, perform the following steps:

1. Turn off Satellite Service.

# service rhn-satellite stop

2. Disable Satellite and associated service.

# chkcong rhn-satellite off

# chkcong jabberd off; chkcong rhn-database off; chkcong osa-dispatcher off; chkcong

taskomatic off; chkcong tomcat5 off; chkcong satellite-httpd off; chkcong rhn-search

off
